So, Apple has released it's third update to their relatively new Leopard (Mac OS 10.5) operating system. Reports so far have been fairly positive with a few potentially serious caveats which will be of concern to graphic houses and designers running Leopard and who utilize a centralized server model. Appleinsider is reporting that Adobe Photoshop files that are saved to a server and worked off of from there become unusable even if moved to a local client station afterward. It isn't happening for everyone, but it is being reported. For more details see other areas on AI as well as the usual sites I recommended in my links post.
So what is my recommendation? Hold off on updating to this version if you are a PS user in a Server environment at the very least and watch this The Technophile for further updates on any of the usual Apple info sites.
IMPORTANT NOTE - As with any updates - the best practice is to back up your important data first as well check out any of the sites listed in my links post.
